Gear For Antarctica and Taking Care of Yourself

Clothing:

Hats and Hoods
As predicted, I didn't wear the billed hats (I like to see the sky), and the balyclava stayed in a stuff sack.  Dale bought goggles for me, and I did wear them a day or two when it was very windy.

Upper Body Clothing
I really really liked the long underwear top combination described here.  It's exactly what I would recommend to anyone (modified slightly for men: no bikini tops needed).  The nanopuff was amazing; the Mountain Hardware hoodie was marginal (not warm enough most of the time); I didn't wear the Excalibur (too big and warm).  This year, I'm adding a Mont Blanc coat.

Lower Body Clothing (including underwear for women)
I really liked what I took.  I didn't wear the wind pants nor the pile pants.  This year, I bought a pair of Mountain Hardware bib overalls with a great butt zipper.  My Burtons are showing the wear of 3 field seasons!

Footwear
What I like, what I'm taking, and why I don't like bunny boots.
